Pauline Mendoza’s ‘Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat’ starts with high TV ratings, netizens laud the newest series

Pauline Mendoza gave her character justice by making ‘BKAL’ trend on twitter and reach double-digit TV rating in its pilot telecast.

GMA Network’s newest drama series “Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat” (BKAL) premiered last Monday, February 22. The show is a story of a young woman, Iris Salvador, played by Pauline Mendoza, whose perfect life was turned upside down with the return of her father’s original family.

During an exclusive interview with LionhearTV, Mendoza admitted that her role as Iris had really put so much pressure on her. This really challenged her being BKAL as her first lead role. Still, she was thankful for the opportunity that the GMA Network gave her.

“Meron din talagang pressure at gabay. Hindi naman talaga mawawala ‘yan lalo na at this is my first time na mabigyan ng ganitong chance, opportunity talaga ng GMA and I’m very thankful for that,” she said.

After BAKL premiered, netizens applauded the performance of the cast. Over Twitter, the Kapuso network thanked the fans who expressed their admiration for the show. The show which premiered last Monday rocked the social media platform.

During its pilot episode, revelations have already unfolded, making viewers anticipate every scene. The show really tugged the heart of its viewers by giving them the much-awaited moment of Iris’ (Pauline Mendoza) meeting with her father’s original family at the very start.

Not just that, the cast’s performance is stellar. And with the pilot episode being very successful, it accumulated a rating of 10.4% from NUTAM People Ratings.

The success of the show was because of Pauline’s pressure being relieved. And she owes it all to her co-workers who believed that she can give her character justice that it deserves.

“…thankful ako kasi with the help of my co-actors lalo na at magagaling na mga artista din ‘yung mga kasama ko dito,” said the young actress.

She also thanked the veterans such as Carmina Villaruel, John Estrada, and others who gave her motivation when she needed it.

“Mga veterans natin, sila Ms. Carmina, sina kuya John, they helped me. I mean whenever I needed motivation from them, binibigay po nila,” she added.

With everyone supporting her, from her co-actors up to the show’s directors, she felt that she can be the Iris that the show needs. It’s because of everyone in BKAL that the pressure, which she felt from the start, disappeared.

“…with the help of my co-actors, hindi ako nahirapan. Kasi nandyan sila lahat para sa akin. Na-feel ko na supported ako ng mga co-actors ko. Everyone on the set, especially our directors, talagang suportado nila yung character ko. Hanggang sa na-build ko ‘yung character ko, si Iris Salvador,” Pauline said.
