Rumors of newfound relationships between celebrity exes Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson have been circulating following their controversial split in 2019.
Gerald Anderson, on Friday, March 5, finally admitted his relationship with actress Julia Barretto in a one-on-one interview with TV host Boy Abunda.
He revealed that he is happy with the actress, ending more than a year of speculation on their possible romance.
On the other hand, Barretto was his co-star in the Japan-set romantic drama Between Maybes in 2019 and was then romantically linked with him.
Prior to this, sightings of the two over the last several months have fueled rumors that they were romantically involved.
As for his former girlfriend Bea Alonzo, several netizens continued speculating her relationship with actor Dominic Roque.
Alonzo and Roque have been spotted together since late 2019, sparking rumors of a budding romance after the actor attended Alonzo’s intimate birthday bash in October.

The two then were spotted in Japan enjoying a drink with another friend, based from Roque’s Instagram post in November 2019.

In December 2020, the actress guested on Aivee Teo’s Q&A vlog, where she admitted that she is dating someone but did not disclose the name.
The two actors continued to intensify rumors about their blossoming romance.
After they shared photos on their respective Instagram pages with similar backgrounds, fans have assumed that the pair went out on a dinner date at Wagyu Studio Manila.

In her recent “jojowain or totropahin” and Q&A content vlog with her mother Mary Ann, the actress said she would rather date Roque than just befriend him.
In another vlog where she exchanged phones with her celebrity and close friend Enchong Dee, Dee revealed that Alonzo’s last caller was “Nic,” who the actress confirmed was Roque.
Early February, fans believed that the rumored couple spent some time in a beach getaway in Amanpulo, based on their respective social media posts.
Roque, meanwhile, has been candid about his perceived attraction to Alonzo, sharing pictures of her on Instagram several times.
Although they never posted any pictures or videos together, the timing and uncanny similarity of their shots reignited speculations that Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque could actually be dating.
Currently, neither of the two has confirmed speculations about their rumored relationship.
