Actress Alessandra de Rossi continually used her platform to show her disapproval of the Government’s lack of action in mitigating the pandemic.
Recently, there were speculations that President Duterte is not in good condition; following the cancellation of his public addresses last week. In response, Senator Bong Go posted photos and videos of the President that he is still alive and kicking.
The photographs and videos showed Duterte playing golf, driving a trike, and jogging.
However, Alessandra found these acts irrelevant because, amid the pandemic, the President can still afford to do sports and recreation even if his people are suffering and dying.
Her response to the record-high number of cases–Alessandra quipped that she needs to go golfing or jogging as her way of throwing shades on Duterte.

Alessandra pointed out that she does not hate, but she is just expressing concern for the people because it seems the Government is careless.

She received criticisms from Duterte’s supporters because of her opinions.
Some even said that she should’ve run for office since she is demanding actions.
Alessandra also pointed out that she is an actress and does not want to be involved in politics. At least, she is doing well in her chosen career.
