Young star Marco Gallo shared an intriguing post on his Instagram, encouraging the public not to wear masks and refuse vaccination against COVID-19.
On Sunday, August 1, Gallo shared his IG story about a certain “bro man” who explained that the government keeps its citizens at bay by forcing them to follow safety protocols and get a jab of Covid-19 vaccines.
He captioned his story: “Take a moment to open your ears, open your mind, and maybe if you care about yourself, not even your country, do something about it, and do not just sit and follow. You’re not a cambing [kambing] ‘di ba?”
Upon checking the video, the certain “bro man” emphasized the unimportance of masks against COVID-19. According to him, governments take a certain number of steps to make their constituents follow them.
“We don’t need the mask. The mask is all about compliance ‘coz they know Canadians like to do what they’re told. So they tell you, you have to wear a mask.
“Next they’re going to tell you, you have to contact trace. Then they’re gonna tell you, you have to take the vaccine. And because Canadians like to do what they’re told, they’re hoping that everyone just complies.”
However, coronavirus is an airborne type of virus. Face masks, especially surgical masks, are very effective to combat COVID-19.
Research conducted by the United States National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) titled, “How effective is a mask in preventing Covid-19 infection?” suggested that masks are essential to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
Their scientists discovered that “wearing masks is absolutely essential at all times, particularly when in direct contact with patients (who already wear surgical masks)”. It also added that “by wearing a mask, even a cloth one, the chance of getting infected for the healthy person is largely reduced in this high exposure risk environment.”
Surgical masks are very effective against the prevention of the spread of Covid-19, because surgical masks are designed to prevent liquid droplets and aerosols from the wearer’s mouth and nose. They are also designed to prevent cross‐contamination between respiratory particles of a wearer and the body fluid of patients during surgery.
Although it is not intended to prevent getting infected by the coronavirus, researchers from NCBI argued that “they can be as effective as respirators, such as N95 for preventing Influenza among health care personnel.”
“Bro man” also has his own take against Covid-19 vaccines. “Once you take your vaccine, like any dumb person that doesn’t know any better, they’re gonna tell you, ‘sorry the vaccine isn’t as effective as we thought it was gonna be,'” he explained. “So now you’re still gonna wear a mask, still gonna get contact traced, still have all the restrictions and all the social distancing, and still take your vaccine.”
He also added, “And then what you get with all of this? You got a whole year where you were not allowed to travel, your business was closed, they took your rights of freedom, they forced the vaccine on you, and what happened?
“The same amount of people died. Everything is the exact same. Now they’re gonna put you back on lockdown and bring it all the way to July of next year. So they can do the same thing again; bring you from July, August, and September, get you off lockdown, but just to bring you back to lockdown again.”?
But the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contradicts the “bro man’s” line of reasoning. Vaccines are needed to keep those vaccinated from getting and spreading the virus that causes COVID-19. In case of getting infected, vaccines keep the person from becoming extremely ill.
Regarding the restrictions and protocols that the man insists it limits one’s freedom and rights, it is implemented to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 as protection against the deadly virus, not to restrict anyone.
He then ended it with a statement that this cycle of mask-contact tracing-vaccine is a “perpetual cycle”.
“If you don’t have any time to figure it out yet, it is a perpetual cycle that you never get out of. And it is a way to take your rights, your freedoms, close your business, take your wealth.
“Why? So you become dependent on the government. Why? If you’re independent, the government works for you like it’s supposed to. If you depend on the government to give you a paycheck to feed your family every month, ‘coz they closed your business on you, now the government doesn’t work for you, the government rules you.
“So instead of a middle class, we have the government upper class and the lower class dependents that rely on the government to survive. In other words, we have a slave class. And that’s what they’re trying to do, it’s that simple.”
The government is responsible for providing support to its citizens amid this pandemic. Businesses were affected due to the unforeseen lethality of Covid-19. Nevertheless, an order must be maintained during such a crisis. The state must ensure that all of its constituents will survive coronavirus until a cure is found.
