Xian Lim is now a Kapuso after joining GMA Network’s upcoming offering titled Love Die Repeat.
The actor was in attendance in a story conference on August 25 via Zoom after months of speculations that he will be the next Kapamilya to transfer to the Kapuso network.
His status is not final yet–whether he will be an exclusive star or on a per-project basis or a freelancer.
Lim’s attendance proved speculations of doing a drama series with Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado.
Apart from Lim and Mercado, also in the story conference were Shyr Valdez, Gardo Versoza, Valerie Concepcion, Kim Domingo and Mike Tan.
Lim fans are eager to watch the actor in a series again. They still have to wait for this new series to start grinding.
His latest series was ABS-CBN’s Love Thy Woman, which was back in 2020. He starred with his real-life girlfriend, Kim Chiu, who previously vowed to remain a Kapamilya.
He recently went back to free television via TV5’s weekend game show, 1000 Heart Beats: Pintig Pinoy, which premiered in March 20.
His most significant milestones in the film are made possible by his onscreen partnership with Chiu, with whom he shared the box-office successes of Bakit Di Ka Crush ng Crush Mo? (2013), Bride for Rent (2014), and Past Tense (2014).
He was a part of ABS-CBN’s talent management arm, Star Magic, from 2008-2017 until he signed a contract with Viva Artist Agency in January 2018.
