Albert Martinez says nothing changed with the people he knew on his return to GMA Network

On October 15, seasoned actor Albert Martinez shared thoughts on his return as a Kapuso. He said that nothing changed with the people he knew in GMA Network.

During the media conference for the Las Hermanas, Martinez said he quickly felt at home when he returned to the Kapuso network.

“I’m very/ happy to be back in GMA [Network]. And I really felt so at home because most of the people na nakasama ko ngayon ay nakasama ko na way back.

“Pero, syempre iba na ‘yung position nila. Much much higher, executive levels so I’m very happy for them. And some of the crew, you know, nakasama ko na from way back. So parang walang nawala, parang walang nagbago. Parang nag-take off and then bumalik sa dati.

“And of course, our PM and EP na very accommodating and made sure that everything was okay. It’s really amazing. I really had a great time.”

The Seasoned actor’s last project with the Kapuso Network was in 2004, with Twin Hearts. He then worked in the Kapamilya Network in 2006, after taking a break from teleseryes.

Martinez joins lead stars Yasmien Kurdi, Thea Tolentino, and Faith Da Silva in the newest drama offering from GMA Network, Las Hermanas.

Martinez also addressed rumors about him and his co-star Da Silva.

“I’ve been in this industry since 1981; I’ve been there and done that. I’m not affected at all. It’s showbusiness, showbusiness is part of the entertainment, and that is a part of the entertainment. So, it doesn’t bother me.

“It worked for both of us. The chemistry was there. Siguro, I would feel bad kung hindi nag-work ‘yung chemistry because that is my intention to make sure na believable siya doon sa narrative.”

The series also includes a powerhouse cast with Jason Abalos, Rita Avila, Leandro Baldemor, Lucho Ayala, Madeline Nicolas, Rubi Rubi, Melissa Mendez, Jennica Garcia, Robert Ortega, Orlando Sol, and Coleen Paz.

Las Hermanas premieres on October 25, on GMA Network, after 24 Oras.
