Despite being a rerun, the GMA Network series ‘The Good Daughter’ earns high ratings per data released by AGB Nielsen.
‘The Good Daughter’ is starred by Kylie Padilla and was first aired in 2012. Almost a decade after, the series is currently being replayed under GMA Network’s afternoon prime lineup.
‘The Good Daughter’ manages to exceed the ratings of its fellow afternoon programs, making it the number 1 show in the said time frame.
Other Kapuso afternoon programs are, ‘Nagbabagang Luha’ and ‘Stories from the Heart: Never Say Goodbye’.
On October 19, ‘The Good Daughter’ tied with ‘Nagbabagang Luha’ on the 5th to 6th place with a 7.5% rating while ‘Stories from the Heart: Never Say Goodbye’ ranked 8th with a 6.9% rating.
The next day, these three-afternoon programs of GMA Network landed 5th to 7th place consecutively.
‘The Good Daughter’ led the afternoon shows, ranking 5th in the chart with an 8.7% rating. ‘Stories from the Heart: Never Say Goodbye’ (6th) and ‘Nagbabagang Luha’ (7th) followed with an 8.1% and 7.7% rating, respectively.
On Thursday, ‘The Good Daughter’ maintained its lead among the afternoon programs. It remained in 5th place with a 7.7% rating, while ‘Stories from the Heart: Never Say Goodbye’ and ‘Nagbabagang Luha’ tied in 7th to 8th place with a 7.3% rating.
Considering the wider reach of the GMA Network compared to other networks, its shows can easily top the rating chart.
Way back in 2012, according to AGB Nielsen, The Good Daughter’s pilot episode (February 13) earned an 18.3% rating, while its final episode (June 1) earned 28.2%.
