In candid, LJ Reyes answered the King of Talk Boy Abunda’s questions when asked if she’d be willing to visit Baguio ‘with a friend’ as a companion.
Anchored on her recent breakup with Paolo Contis, she got asked that question.
Amid the separation, rumors of a third party resurfaced when Contis got spotted with Yen Santos in Baguio. The two were having a sweet moment by dining together.
“Yes. Why not? I’m proud of Baguio as a Filipino. Maraming pwedeng puntahan doon. Maraming pwedeng kainan,” Reyes laughingly answered Abunda’s query.
“Paulo is from Baguio. May family dun si Aki. Pupunta talaga kami dun,” she mentioned Paulo Avelino, who is the father of his eldest child, being from Baguio.
Reyes is [extremely] grateful for those who have unendingly shown their support for her and her family.
Now, she is staying in New York with her two children.
“Sila yung nagsasabi na relax ka lang diyan. Enjoy. Do what you want to do. Kung kailangan mo ng time for yourself, you can do that. Iba talaga pag sinabi ng nanay mo na sa akin ka muna.’ Alam mong di ka ilalaglag. Di ka bibitawan kahit anong mangyari,” she stressed.
Reyes disclosed Contis didn’t contact her after they officially ended their relationship in August 2021.
In September 2021, she confirmed her breakup with Contis after six years of being together.
Contis admitted he cheated during his relationship with Reyes and confessed he was truly ashamed of his wrong actions.
