Nadine Lustre is open to settling her contract issue with Viva Artists Agency (VAA) outside of court.

To recall, Lustre announced in January 2020 that she’s leaving VAA and opted to be a “self-managed” artist — a move that Viva sued the actress.
In August 2021, Viva Artists Agency revealed that Lustre already talked to them after they sued her. So now, the two parties are on good terms.
In November 2021, Lustre’s legal counsel Atty. Eirene Jhone E. Aguila and Atty. Gideon V. Peña released a statement on the actress’s plans to settle the matter with Viva.

“We confirm that there are ongoing negotiations to put an end to legal controversies between Nadine Lustre and Viva Artists Agency. While Nadine is confident about the strength of her legal position, she remains open to amicably settling with Viva and proceeding under terms that are fair and mutually beneficial,” the statement read.
“Like Viva, Nadine looks forward to continuing to provide quality entertainment to audiences both local and across the globe.
“Nadine trusts that Viva will remain true to its mission statement to empower and develop artists and their talents for the betterment of their careers and lives.”
Amid the breach of contract issue, Lustre is set to star in one of Viva Entertainment’s upcoming projects.
The actress signed a contract under VAA in 2009. Her 2014 film Diary ng Panget under Viva Films marked her breakthrough in the showbiz industry.
