Sylvia Sanchez hinted about wanting to have grandchildren. Netizens assumed that the actress wanted a grandchild from her son Arjo Atayda and Maine Mendoza.
In Sylvia’s Instagram post on January 18, she shared a photo with her son Xavi. She noted that her youngest is taller than her now and that she wishes to have a grandchild.
“Hintay nalang talaga ako ng apo ko ehem, ehem, ehem hahahaha
“But in the meantime, habang wala pa ehem ehem,” Slyvia wrote with laughing emojis.

Netizens then assumed that Sylvia wanted her son Arjo and girlfriend Maine to have a child already.
Dating rumors between Atayde and Mendoza started in 2018.
They marked their 3rd anniversary in December 2021.
In Atayde’s YouTube interview with Julius Babao in October 2021, he talked about his plans of settling down with his girlfriend, Mendoza.
“Yes, of course, we are talking about that. I’m at the right age, we’re not getting any younger and we’re both very happy, hopefully until we get old. This is it, I think so,” he said.
Atayde is currently running for Congressman of the First District of Quezon City.
Mendoza, on the other hand, is a regular host in the Kapuso show Eat Bulaga. She is rumored of being paired up with John Lloyd Cruz in a Kapuso project.
