Actor Mark Anthony Fernandez on Friday, February 18, admitted that he struggled with his outfits in the making of the Viva film Adarna Gang.
The actor initially thought that the production team would provide their wardrobe for the movie. However, upon arriving at the set, Fernandez was informed to bring his clothes.
“Bale ako yung attire. So yung nangyari sa pelikula ‘to, akala ko may damit na para sa amin. Yun pala, kami ang magdadala. So nagkaroon kami ng miscommunication,” he shared.
He also revealed that the staff has inquired about his sizes, assuring him that he does not need to bring his own. Luckily, his scenes were mostly at home, and he had no choice but to use his regular clothes for the takes.
Adarna Gang, is based on Philippine folklore, but has three princes on a quest to find the magical bird “Ibong Adarna.” It’s about a group that has a woman and three members of a syndicate fighting to become “king.”
Fernandez is joined by returning star Coleen Garcia, JC Santos, Diego Loyzaga, Ronnie Lazaro, Sharmaine Buencamino, and Rob Guinto.
Adarna Gang is under the direction of filmmaker John Red and will be available for streaming on Vivamax, starting March 11.
