Rockstar and It’s Showtime host Teddy Corpuz shed light behind his noticeable sprained finger.
In the Thursday, February 24 episode of It’s Showtime, Corpuz was visibly wearing a bandage on his left hand, which caught the attention of his fellow Showtime hosts.
Vice noticed Teddy’s hand during the opening gap and asked what had happened.
Teddy then explained what transpired the other day, which caused his sprain.
“Kahapon diba naghaharutan tayo. Tapos babasain ko si Vhong diba? Tapos ginanon nya yung kamay ko”
“Nakalimutan ko, nakalimutan ko competitive nga pala si Vhong Navarro.” Teddy narrated.
The incident happened in the Wednesday episode of the noontime show.
During the Sexy Babe segment, when Vice, Ogie, and Vhong are interviewing the contestant, Teddy suddenly appears on stage holding bottled water.
He then walked closer to Vhong and squeezed the bottled water. Vhong immediately grabbed Teddy’s hand and prevented the water from splashing to him.
Meanwhile, Vhong defended himself, saying it was Teddy’s karma because he was supposed to splash him with water, and he just prevented Teddy from doing it.
“Alam anong tawag dyan, babasain mo ako eh, karma yan,” said Vhong
Vice Ganda also quips, saying Teddy deserves it because of his bad intention against Vhong which ilicit laughter from other co-hosts.
“Kaya mo hinawakan ng madiin kasi babasain ka? (addressed to Vhong). Kaya ka napilay? (addressed to Teddy), ahhh deserve,” Vice said.
For the past years, It’s Showtime hosts have always shared their crazy and funny moments on the screen, showing how strong their bond is. And it’s no wonder since they have been together through thick and thin for the past 12 years.
