On Thursday, March 24, Kapuso actor Xian Lim expressed his hopes that GMA Network executives would allow him to record a song under GMA Music someday.
He said this after he got chosen to be one of the performers for GMA Pinoy TV’s Stronger Together: GMA Pinoy TV at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The show also includes Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose and The Clash Season 3 Grand Champion Jessica Villarubin.
In the virtual media conference of the event, Lim jest, “Ngayon pa nga lang, nagpapahiwatig na po ako sa mga bosses natin na nanunuod. Just in case na kailangan ng ka-duet ni Ms. Jessica at ni Ms. Julie Anne San Jose, nandito po ako.”
He continued, “I think may bago version na ilalabas ng Station ID ng GMA, baka po kino-consider na nila ako.”
However, the actor-singer is serious about his dream to record a song under GMA Music.
“But joking aside, I hope I’d get to do music with GMA.”
Lim happens to be a good singer, too, will be bringing his piano along with him to the concert.
It is also his first-ever international event since he joined GMA Network in August 2021.
The concert will be on March 30 at the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre, Dubai Expo Grounds.
