On Tuesday, April 27, comedian Juliana Parizcova Segovia got affected by It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda’s story that he knew someone who has become a troll due to financial needs.
“Sa totoong buhay hindi naman siya toxic talaga pero basher siya sa social media. Ta’s nalaman ko troll siya. Trabaho kasi wala siyang pera eh. Ginawa niya ‘yun, kumapit siya doon kahit mali kasi kailangan niya ng pera dahil naghihirap siya,” said the comedian during an episode of the noontime show.
He continued, “Masakit man pero yung ang epekto sa kanya ng kahirapan. Kinailangan niyang gawin. Hindi man katanggap-tanggap pero wala siyang choice. Mabait naman ‘yan eh, pero ngayon magugulat ka na lang talaga. ‘Yung mga post niya, ta’s nalaman naming troll pala siya.”
Meanwhile, controversial content creator of the “Len-Len” series Darryl Yap shared Segovia’s reaction to Vice Ganda’s statement on facebook.
“Iniisip ko hanggang ngayon, ni isang beses wala sa kanya o sa mga kadikit niya ang hiningan ko ng Gcash kahit singkong duling. Nung wala akong pera at trabaho nag-online ukay-ukay ako sa Facebook live pero never ako nanghingi sa kanya o sa kanila,” the comedian opened up to the director.
Yap even asked if Segovia was sure that he was the person that Vice was referring to, to which he replied, “Siguradung-sigurado ako direk.”
The noontime host even claimed that his friend used to ask for help through the mobile wallet app.
Segovia, on the other hand, reacted that he never sought help from Vice.
“Never ako nanghingi sa kanya.”
He was advised by Yap to ignore the host’s comments.
“Wag ka nang magpaapekto, iniisip niya na kalaban ka niya. You are the size of your enemy. Giginhawa rin ang buhay mo at ang naramdaman mong pangmamaliit ngayon ay ang pinakamalaking paalala sayo na hindi ka hihinto hanggang maging matagumpay ka. Lahat ng sinabi niya ay repleksyon niya. Nandito lang kami ni Ro at Senator [Imee Marcos].”
Segovia then shared a clip of Vice Ganda advising a contestant.
The It’s Showtime host has yet to respond to the reaction of Segovia.
