Paulo Avelino took to Instagram to post a glimpse of his reunion with his son in New York.
On April 6, via Instagram Stories, Avelino shared a series of videos with his son.
The first video features him discussing Aki about his hair color.
The next one showed him walking behind his son, accompanied by a young girl.
Presently, Avelino’s son resides with his mother, LJ Reyes, in New York.
Avelino fulfilled his promise by visiting his son. He went to the United States since he’s part of Ogie Alcasid’s concert tour with Janine Gutierrez.
In March, Avelino shared that he told his former partner Reyes regarding his plan to visit their son in New York.
“Actually na-mention ko na sa mommy niya. Tinatanong lang kung ano ‘yung dates. Pero nando’n na rin ako, might as well see my son. I haven’t seen him since they left,” Avelino said.
In November 2021, Reyes shared that she and Avelino have a decent relationship as parents, and the latter was willing to provide for Aki’s needs.
“Nagsabi lang siya na, parang, ‘I know you’re going through a very difficult time.’ At siyempre, ang iniisip niya rin is si Aki, and if anything daw that I need when it comes to Aki, I can always tell him,” she said.
