Kapuso loveteam Allen Ansay and Sofia Pablo, on Friday, April 22, delved into the topic that they may have to pursue their career without each other.
Both of them insisted that their love team might end, but the relationship and bond they formed along the way will forever remain.
“Kami po kasi talaga ni Sofi, siguro kung matapos man yung loveteam, kasi nga po yung loveteam hindi naman po panghabambuhay, siguro yung friendship namin, yung mga pinagsamahan namin. Sino man yung makatrabaho namin, mabago man yung loveteam, nasa puso pa rin namin iyon.
“Hindi pa rin mawawala yung nagkakilala na si Allen at si Sofi no’ng pandemic na matagal ang pinagsamahan,” said Ansay during the virtual media conference of their mini-series Raya Sirena.
Pablo added that their fans will always remember AlFia.
“Pero meron at meron po yung magka-loveteam na kahit natapos na yung mga shows together—alam niyo po yung nandoon pa rin yung connection nila sa tao kahit wala sa show. Parang makikita niyo pa rin po na may AlFia pa rin.”
The young actress concluded that the audience adored them because of how genuine their chemistry was.
“Siguro yun po ang nakikita ko na kahit matapos ang on-screen loveteam namin, siguro may maiiwan at maiiwan na off-screen. Kasi very natural nga po and genuine ang samahan namin ni Allen. Kaya nga po talagang nagwo-work ang Team Jolly.”
AlFia began after the two starred in a Regal Studio Presents episode that jumpstarted their love team. They then became one of the main cast in Prima Donnas Book Two.
In Raya Sirena, Pablo will be playing Raya, a mermaid, while Ansay plays Gavin, a human. The mini-series also includes young artist Saviour Ramos who will play a merman. Both guys will be fighting for Raya’s heart.
The fantaserye will be aired starting Sunday, April 24, at 3:05 p.m., only on GMA Network.
