On April 26, The newest Pinoy Pop Girl Group CALISTA shared their first impression of working with Pinoy artists such as Andrea Brillantes, AC Bonifacio, Elmo Magalona, Ken San Jose, and Darren Espanto at their recently successful concert, Vax-To-Normal.

CALISTA members Olive, Dain, and Anne, described Andrea as a down-to-earth person.

“Unang nakasama sa rehearsals si Andrea. Sobrang bait niya. Sobrang parang contradicting sa–kay Marga,” said Olive.

“Kung ano po ‘yung nakikita niyo sa kanya, ‘yun po talaga siya sa personal as in. Sobrang bait po niya and sobrang down to earth. Makulit siya, sobrang bubbly,” Dain continued.

“At tsaka nagtatanong po siya ng zodiac signs namin,” Anne added.

As for AC Bonifacio, CALISTA members Anne, Elle, Denise, Laiza, and Dain, recall meeting the international dance celebrity before their rehearsals for their concert event.

“Si AC, na-star-struck kami,” Anne stated.

“Actually, nagkita na tayo noon eh, before sa PPop con. So parang naging magaan na lang talaga. Magkakilala na po kami pagdating namin sa rehearsals and magaan siya ka-work,” Elle clarified.

“Na-challenge!, Na-pressure!” Denise and Laiza exclaimed.

“Siyempre nakaka-pressure po kasi sobrang galing niya. Iba po ‘yung pressure na ‘yun talagang gusto po naming i-push talaga na dapat maging ano–ka-level namin siya,” Dain explained.

CALISTA also recall their first impression of Elmo Magalona, citing how the performer encouraged them.

“Grabe sobrang bait po niya (Elmo Magalona.),” Olive answered.

“Tapos nagbigay siya ng advice sa amin.” Dain went on.

“Grabe ‘yung pag-encourage niya sa amin, pagdating nung dress rehearsals kanina,” Olive revealed.

For Ken San Jose, CALISTA cited the American dancer’s friendliness and talent for dancing.

“Si Ken, grabe ‘yung fast pick-up niya pagdating sa steps,” Anne noted.

“Tsaka ang friendly niya, grabe di namin akalain. Grabe ang friendly niya,” Elle mentioned.

“Grabe din siyang mang-Hi, sinasabi niya, ‘Let’s go!'” Olive recounted.

“And sobrang independent siya na tao. ‘Yun po talaga,” Dain described.

For Darren, CALISTA appreciated the singer’s sweetness and kindness.

“Sobrang ang sweet niyang lalaki (Darren). Pag nakita mo siya ang bait. Ang tangkad,” Olive expressed.

“Actually, hindi ko po first time makasama si Darren kaya, kilala ko na po siya noon pa lang,” Laiza disclosed.
