In a Twitter thread on Tuesday, May 3, Jennylyn Mercado shared her thoughts about the future with VP Leni Robredo as her presidential bet.
As the May 9 elections are fast approaching, she admitted that recent events are stressful for her. Mercado said she wanted to contribute to a brighter future for her child.
Mercado wrote, “Pero siyempre hindi rin maaari na hindi ako manindigan lalong lalo na ngayon na may bago akong silang na anak. Kinabukasan niya ang nakasalalay dito e.”

The actress reminded us that parents should vote for the right candidate for their children’s future.
She added, “Sinuman ang mananalong mga opisyal ng gobyerno ay may mahalagng papel na gagampanan sa buhay ng anak namin sa loob ng anim na taon na sila ay manunungkulan sa pwesto.”

She then urged everyone to vote for Robredo, whom she described as an “ultimate survivor” for being a single mom and a public servant.
