The event marked the largest gathering of sari-sari store owners in the country.
Aling Puring continues to assist small entrepreneurs and retail store owners in the country, by holding Aling Puring Negosyo Convention 2022, at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. With over 600,000 certified members nationwide, the event attracted many attendees throughout its run from May 19 to 21. Puregold’s libreng sakay program allowed sari-sari store owners from various parts of Metro Manila and adjacent areas, to come and attend the convention. Much of the convention also notably coincided with the Pambansang Sari-Sari Store week, which ran from May 16-21.
Bearing the theme, “Tuloy Natin Ang Pagsasama, Tuloy Natin Ang Pag-Asenso.”, this year’s gathering focused on helping out sari-sari store owners make their small business sustainable and growing. The highlight of the event, and the week-long celebration itself, was the launch of the new Aling Puring mobile app. This app is linked to the Puregold Mobile app, which allows users to easily replenish their stocks through smooth ordering. Exclusive deals and offers are also part of its seemingly endless perks.
Through the app, sari-sari store owners, as well as carinderia owners, whole-sellers, and resellers, can now transform their small business into an effective e-negosyo hub. The app empowers its users to avail e-negosyo opportunities offered by Puregold and its partners. It can also be used a telco reloader, as well as a bills payment partner.

During the convention, distinguished speakers including wealth advisor, Chinkee Tan, were invited to deliver informatively and moving speeches to inspire attendees. A lucky participant who attended the first day of the convention on May 19, even received cash assistance from Tan, himself.
