On June 16, the GMA Network revealed that Kapuso artists Allen Ansay and Sofia Pablo would star in the first GMA Network-Wattpad series.
GMA Network now works with Wattpad Webtoon to present the live adaptation of the novel ‘Luv Is: Caught in His Arms’ by Ventre Canard.

The plot of Luv Is: Caught in His Arms follows heiress Florence Almero who fled from her privileged life after being forced into an arranged marriage.
She finds shelter with their close family friend, Don Ferrell. However, her new home includes Ferrell’s notoriously mischievous grandsons. Despite the contrast in their personalities, she develops feelings for one of the Ferrell boys.
As for the author, Ventre Canard gained popularity with her works and amassed over 1.7 million followers on the platform. The webtoon creator published 26 stories with 342 million total reads.
As for the adaptation, Luv Is: Caught in His Arms stars Allen Ansay and Sofia Pablo with Sparkada members Vince Maristela, Michael Sager, Sean Lucas, Raheel Bhyria, Cheska Fausto, Kirsten Gonzales, Tanya Ramos, and Caitlyn Stave.
The series premieres in October 2022 and airs daily Monday through Friday on GMA Network.

Before the Kapuso Network’s dive into Wattpad adaptations, ABS-CBN and TV5 have already dipped their toes into creating several series based on Wattpad stories.
