On July 8, GMA Network announced that San Jose, Forteza, and Trillo would lead the new Kapuso series titled Maria Clara at Ibarra.
Maria Clara at Ibarra follows the story of Klay, a nursing student excited to leave the country to work abroad.
One day, Klay will find herself in the world of Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere ni Rizal. She will meet Maria Clara, Ibarra, and other characters in the novel.
In April 2021, San Jose played David Licauco’s leading lady in a GMA series titled Heartful Café.
Forteza’s recent projects with the Kapuso Network include the TV adaptation of Mano Po and Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday.
Trillo was one of the lead stars in the cultural drama titled Legal Wives.
Forteza has a huge crush on Trillo, wishing to be partnered with the latter on a project.
