On July 1, Kapamilya artist Kyle Echarri clarified that he’s only asking for prayers for his sister Bella with his recent Instagram post.
During the media conference for Beach Bros, Kyle said he wasn’t asking people to feel bad for him and his family following his sister’s Brain Tumor diagnosis.
“The reason why I posted it po, para po sa mga nakakaalam, I’m not asking for self pity. I’m not asking you guys to feel bad for me /and my family. We’re really just asking for prayers. It’s a hard time in my life and the family.
“I’m really just asking for prayers as much as I can. Alam ko mahirap po ‘yung pinagdadaanan ng pamilya ko, pero what I always say is God is always bigger than this. And God hopefully would find a way for my little sister.”
Earlier, Kyle confirmed that his sister Isabella “Bella” Rae Echarri was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor in May 2022 through an IG post.

He then discussed their family’s struggle following Bella’s diagnosis.
“Kita ninyo naman po sa post ko tungkol sa kanya, she’s been my world since the day she was born. She is my number one. Mahirap po talaga, ‘yung pinagdadaanan ninya po ngayon, medyo mahirap po, di lang po para sa akin kung di sa buong pamilya ko.”
He then admitted feeling hurt because he couldn’t be with his sister at the moment.
“It hurts that I can’t be there for her at this very moment in time, I can’t be there for her at this very moment in time, I can’t be with her all the time. Pero, it’s just better for her to get her treatment in America. For us, we feel it’d be better there. Also mahal na mahal ko po talaga ‘yung kapatid ko alam ninyo naman po ‘yun since day one. Tuwing nagge-guest po siya sa Magandang Buhay, umiiyak po ako parati, mahal na mahal ko ‘yun.”
He also attributed his success as a Kapamilya artist because of his sister Bella.
“She always know that, she’s been the biggest blessing I’ve ever received in my life. And hindi ninyo po makikita ang ganitong Kyle Echarri kung wala po si Isabela Rae Echarri, kasi siya po talaga ang nagbago ng buhay ko. And, she’s always been the center of my life.”
As for his project, Kyle Echarri stars in the Kapamilya digital series Beach Bros alongside Chie Filomeno.
The series also includes new Kapamilya artists such as Lance Carr, Brent Manalo, Raven Rigor, Sean Tristan, Kira Balinger, and Angelica Lao. Beach Bros premieres on July 16 via iWantTFC.
