On December 23, Pop Royalty Sarah Geronimo appeared on the Kapamilya noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ to perform her latest single, ‘Dati-Dati.’
However, after the performance, Geronimo could not help but ask the hosts, Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis, whether the Kapamilya audience still knew her.
“Kilala pa ba nila ako?” Geronimo asked.
Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis immediately refuted Geronimo’s doubts, citing that she was already a household name for the Filipino audience.
Ganda said, “Ang dami mong napasayang tao. ‘Yung mga tao, sabik na sabik sila sa ‘yo. At mahal na mahal ka namin…don’t ever think na ganoon ka kadali kalimutan. Ano ka ba? Makakalimutan namin mga passwords namin, pero hindi naman makakalimutan si Sarah G.”
Geronimo assured her fans of the upcoming projects she has planned for 2023. She quipped, “Excited po ako for the coming year dahil akalain niyo po marami-rami surprises ko sa inyo mga Popsters.”
Earlier, Geronimo personally returned to ‘ASAP Natin To’ after two years of being on hiatus from the studio.
Geronimo technically resumed her stint in ‘ASAP Natin To’ in July 2022. However, she maintained her arrangement of remotely recording her performances to do ‘Sarah G Specials.’
She last performed ASAP Natin ‘To on stage in November 2020, including a hybrid performance. Geronimo chose to take a break from showbiz to focus on her marriage.
