“BarDa” love team Barbie Forteza and David Licauco are set to star in another fantasy series.
Their love team was first formed on GMA’s ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ (MCAI) which became a huge hit. The series dominated the ratings and became the most-watched Netflix series.
After MCAI, the two were paired up in ‘Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko’ where they were featured for a month-long special.
They also became part of Ben&Ben’s ‘The Way You Look At Me’ cover. The music video for the song unfolds a story of a guy (played by David) who meets a woman (Barbie) through a dating app so he can get over his lost love.
The BarDa love team is also set to star in their first movie together. The film, which has yet to be titled, will be produced by Pocket Media Productions. It will be a romantic drama directed by Cathy Camarillo, known for her work on the TV shows ‘Halik’ and ‘Wildflower.’
It seemed like fans can’t get enough of the two as they will be reunited in another fantasy series. Accordingly, it will be a romantic series called ‘Pulang Araw’. We also heard from the grapevine that it will be a project between the partnership of Viu Philippines and GMA Network. Some details still needs to be confirmed though.
