More personalities are engaging in award-winning writers, Jerry Gracio and Suzette Doctolero’s social media war. This is following the latter’s assertion last May 17, that efforts orchestrated by ABS-CBN, are being performed to sabotage ‘Voltes V Legacy’.
Aside from many netizens picking sides in the social media war between Kapamilya writer, Jerry Gracio and Kapamilya writer, Suzette Doctolero, which prompted the latter to go on a massive “blocking” spree on Twitter, other prominent personalities also got drawn into the commotion. Among them include the 70th FAMAS Awards Best Director, and lawyer, Vince Tañada, who also exchanged tirades with Doctolero months ago.
“SLAY! Wala naman kasing ginawa yan kundi mangutya ng gawa ng iba, na para bang sya ang awtoridad sa pagsusulat. Ako, hindi ko sasalingin ang mga sinulat niya. Alam ko kasi ang hirap ng paggawa. Para mong iniaanak ang obra. Mas masarap punahin ang ugali. Iyon sigurado akong masama,” tweeted Tañada as a reply to Gracio’s tweet about Doctolero’s seemingly self-proclamation act.

“Ay sumali? Lols,” was Doctolero’s only reply to Tañada. It can be recalled that both writers previously engaged in an exchange of tirades last year. This was due to the former’s bad review of the latter’s film, ‘Katips’. It can also be noted that both support different candidates in the 2022 national elections.
An ABS-CBN fan replied to Tañada, thanking him for sharing Gracio’s sentiment about the Kapuso writer. “Hindi ako mag-eexpect sumagot yang si Suzette sa’yo atty. Pero salamat po. Ugali nya talaga ang siyang dahilan bakit hindi makuha ng GMA ang puso ng manonood. Sa halip na magpromote ng show, gagawa talaga yan ng away.

Social media personality, Charot!, reminded Doctolero of ongoing collaboration with her former rivals. ABS-CBN and GMA Network. She likened the Kapuso writer to someone who heads an internet-trolling farm.
“Ang ABS-CBN at GMA mayroon na mga collaboration at patuloy na nakikipag ugnayan mga big bosses para sa future projects nila pero si Suzette Doctolero nakikipag bangayan pa din na akala mo Team Leader ng isang troll farm. Charot!,” her tweet read.

Yumi, a Kapuso fan, supports Doctolero. “Love u ma’am Suzette, isa na pinakamahusay magsulat ng mga drama series..that is why, 42 years na akong solid kapuso..,” she tweeted.
