On May 5, comedian Lassy Marquez disclosed his long-distance relationship with an overseas Filipino worker (OFW).
At the media conference for Beks Days of Our Lives, which LionhearTV covered, Marquez confirmed that his current relationship is nearing its four-year-anniversary this December.
“Magfo-four years na pagbalik niya dito.Â
“Mga one month lang. LDR kami eh. So pagbalik niya dito ng January, ay ng December, four years na kami.Â
“Nagwo-work siya sa mall.”
He then discussed how he and his beau maintain their long-distance relationship.
“Mahirap talaga sa simula, lalo na kung di ka busy, ‘yun talaga, promise. Pero kung busy ka naman, busy siya, okay lang. ganon at communication.”
He then recounted meeting his current romantic partner in Saudi Arabia.
“Actually, nag-meet kami sa Saudi, pero noong nagpunta na siya ng Pilipinas doon kami nagligawan and then hanggang sa umalis siya noong naging kami.”
As for Beks Battalion’s Viva comedy-drama film, Beks Days of Our Lives stars Marquez, MC Muah, and Chad Kinis.
Joining the Beks Battalion trio are John ‘Sweet’ Lapus, Debbie Garcia, Ruby Ruiz, John Flores, Pepita Curtis, Divine Tetay, Tonton Soriano, Axel Torres, Kirst Viray, Yuki Zakamoto, and Raven Molina.
Under the direction of Kinis, Beks Days of Our Lives opens in cinemas nationwide this May 17.
