The top-rating Kapuso afternoon dramas, ‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap (AKNP)’ and ‘Magandang Dilag (MD),’ continue to dominate the afternoon programming with their unwavering popularity.
According to the latest rating report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, AKNP and MD have maintained their positions as the top two daytime programs in the overall weekday rating chart, solidifying their status as the strongest contenders in daytime programming.
On Monday, July 10, AKNP showcased its strength by achieving a remarkable rating of 10.1 percent, securing the fifth position in the leaderboard. The show’s compelling storyline and engaging performances have resonated with viewers, contributing to its consistently high ratings.
MD, led by Herlene Budol, also made its mark with a notable rating of 8.5 percent, placing sixth in the overall rating chart.
Meanwhile, not far behind is another Kapuso afternoon drama, ‘The Seed of Love,’ which garnered a respectable rating of 7.1 percent, claiming the seventh spot in the ratings board.
Among the Kapuso afternoon offerings, ‘Luv Is: Love at First Read’ remains the weakest performer with a rating of only 4.2 percent, placing twelfth in the leaderboard. Despite its lower ratings, the show continues to offer a unique perspective on teenage romance and resonate with a specific audience.
The success of AKNP and MD may be attributed to their compelling narratives, talented cast, and how they resonate with viewers across various demographics.
