Manila is gearing up for a frosty, enchanting holiday season as ‘Disney on Ice’ glides, spins, and jumps back into the hearts of Filipinos this December.
The highly anticipated event, titled ‘Disney on Ice presents 100 Years of Wonder,’ marks the return of the beloved ice show to the Philippines after its last run on January 5, 2020.
This year’s edition is particularly special as it aligns with The Walt Disney Company’s year-long celebration of its 100th anniversary, which culminated in October 2023.
The ice skating extravaganza promises to take audiences on a magical journey through iconic Disney stories, featuring beloved characters from Frozen, Moana, Coco, and Disney Princesses such as Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Mulan, Merida, and Tiana.
Audiences can also anticipate breathtaking aerial stunts performed against the backdrop of visually stunning VFX lighting and video components, especially during the ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ segment.
Manila ‘Disney on Ice 2023’ is set to stage 26 shows from December 22, 2023, to January 7, 2024, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
While ticket prices for this year’s spectacle are yet to be announced by presenter Feld Entertainment, the company assures fans that prices will be budget-friendly, starting at P300. Tickets will soon be available for purchase through the SM Tickets website.
Disney on Ice has previously offered a range of ticket options, with the last show in the Philippines featuring prices from P150 (General Admission) to P4,550 (Front Row).
