On August 22, Kapuso actresses Nadine Samonte and Yasmien Kurdi reacted to the competition they had when she was younger.
At the media conference of ‘The Missing Husband,’ which LionhearTV covered, Samonte explained that the people around her and Kurdi were instigating a rivalry between them when they started in showbiz.
Kurdi added details about their ‘rivalry,’ citing how challenging it was for them as young stars to ascertain the truth from gossip.
“Siyempre mga bagets kami noon, so nag-away-away kami noon.
So wag kaagad maniniwala, kailangan malaman mo agad from that person, kung narinig mo talaga kasi ang daming tsismis.”
Samonte and Kurdi started their Kapuso careers when they joined Starstruck Season 1 in 2003.Â
Kurdi also hoped that all the Starstruck Season 1 stars would have a reunion project together.
“Malay mo someday, magkaroon kami ng show together, at kasama pa sila Jennylyn, si Katrina, Christine Reyes, at everyone, at magkaroon kami ng isang show na all-together ang Starstruck para sa isang reunion. Hello GMA, malay mo di ba? Masaya ‘yun di ba?”
As for their series, ‘The Missing Husband’ stars Rocco Nacino, Kurdi, Joross Gamboa, Sophie Albert, and Jak Roberto.
The cast also features Max Eigenmann, Michael Flores, Bryce Eusebio, Cai Cortez, Mark Herras, Samonte, and Patricia Coma.
Under the direction of Mark Reyes, ‘The Missing Husband,’ airs on August 28 on GMA Afternoon Prime.
