Actor and singer Janno Gibbs faced criticism from a netizen who questioned his perceived lack of “sadness” during his New Year celebration in Japan, which followed the recent death of his father, Ronaldo Valdez.

On New Year’s Day, Gibbs shared a family photo from their trip to Japan on his Instagram page.
A user in the comments section pointed out the recent passing of Gibbs’ father, suggesting a noticeable absence of visible sorrow in the post.
Gibbs responded with a brief retort, stating, “You are judging. Shame on you.” Other users came to the actor’s defense, emphasizing that people have different ways of grieving. The netizen later apologized, acknowledging the insensitivity of her comment.
