Speculation swirls around the potential network transfer of Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado to ABS-CBN.
In a recent episode of ‘Ogie Diaz Showbiz Updates,’ talent manager Ogie Diaz addressed rumors surrounding Mercado’s possible move.
“Parang hindi naman yata. Kasi parang may recording lang under Star Music itong si Jennylyn kaya syempre bumibisita doon sa Star Music department ng ABS-CBN” Ogie stated.
“Ang sabi do’n sa mga comment section ay mananatili pa rin Kapuso si Jennylyn Mercado,” he added.
“E, rinig ko naman dyan kaya umalingasngas ‘yang ingay na lilipat na si Jennylyn sa ABS-CBN kasi hindi pa raw siya pumipirma ng kontrata sa GMA,” co-host Tita Jegs chimed in.
Comedian Dyosa Pockoh also speculated that Jennylyn might be moving due to the perceived failure of her show with Xian Lim.
“Ang dinig ko din naman, Tito Ogie, kaya daw lilipat dahil flop daw ‘yong teleserye nila ni Xian Lim na ‘Love, Die, Repeat.,” Dyosa Pockoh added.
As of now, Jennylyn has not addressed these rumors.
Jennylyn’s comeback teleserye, ‘Love. Die. Repeat,’ where she stars alongside Xian Lim, is in its final week. Following this, Jennylyn is expected to focus on her music career, as she has an album with Star Music, the music arm of ABS-CBN.
