Sen. Bong Revilla Jr. leads largest government aid fair for media and entertainment industry workers

On Sunday, October 13, Senator Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. spearheaded the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF): Paglinang sa Industriya ng Paglikha held at the Philippine Sports Arena in Pasig City, where over 13,000 workers in the radio, television, and film industries received direct government support.

The BPSF, the largest government convergence caravan in the country, brought together more than 60 government agencies to deliver over 400 programs and services to citizens.

The senator was joined by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto and Congressman Roman Romulo, who co-sponsored the Kabalikat sa Pagtuturo (KaP) Act. He also acknowledged the presence of Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) Director Jose Javier Reyes and MOWELFUND representative Ms. Boots Anson Roa-Rodrigo.

Revilla, who began his career as an actor, expressed deep gratitude to the entertainment industry for shaping his career and helping him gain the trust of the public in his role as a senator.
