Kapuso star Allen Ansay recently opened up about a past moment of jealousy involving fellow Sparkle star Miguel Tanfelix.
During his guest appearance on Mikee Quintos’s show ‘Lutong Bahay’ on Monday, Allen candidly admitted that he once felt insecure about Miguel—especially in the early days of his love team with Sofia Pablo.
In the show’s ‘Kitchen-terrogate’ segment, Mikee directly asked Allen if he ever got jealous of Miguel. Without hesitation, the ‘Prinsesa ng City Jail’ star confirmed it.
“First [‘All-Out Sundays’] namin together nun, tapos andun si Miguel, talagang nagwawala siya sa sigaw. Kinindatan lang ni Miguel or kinawayan lang, as in nagwawala siya,” Allen recalled.
He humorously admitted feeling slighted by Sofia’s reaction.
“Tapos ‘yung mukha ko parang, ‘Never mo sa ‘kin ginawa ‘yan ah,'” he added, now able to laugh about the experience.
Sofia had previously shared this moment during her own ‘Lutong Bahay’ guesting on January 24. She revealed that it was the first time Allen witnessed how excited she gets whenever “Kuya Miguel” is around.
“Kasama ko po si Allen nun and nakasalubong ko si Kuya Miguel. Sabi niya, ‘Sofia,’ beso,” she recalled.
Her reaction? Pure fangirl energy.
“Talon ako nang talon, kasi parang first time ko siyang mabeso, kasi ‘di ko siya kayang i-approach. Tapos tili ako nang tili. Tapos ‘di niya [Allen] ako pinapansin,” she shared, laughing.
Allen and Sofia currently star in ‘Prinsesa ng City Jail’, airing weekdays at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime. Meanwhile, Miguel Tanfelix leads ‘Mga Batang Riles’, which airs weeknights at 8:50 p.m. on GMA Prime.
