GMA Network’s flagship radio stations, Super Radyo DZBB 594 kHz and Barangay LS 97.1 Forever!, further strengthened their lead in Mega Manila airwaves in January, according to data from Nielsen Radio Audience Measurement (RAM).
Super Radyo DZBB 597 kHz, the Kapuso Network’s flagship AM radio station, captured the lion’s share of Mega Manila listeners with an audience share of 63.8 percent. Its closest competitors, DZRH 666 and DWWW 774, recorded audience shares of 9.9 percent and 7.4 percent, respectively.
In January, its award-winning special, “Ikaw Na Ba? The Senatorial Interviews” returned to the airwaves. Anchored by seasoned radio broadcasters Joel Reyes Zobel, Rowena Salvacion, and Melo del Prado, the program featured a series of in-depth interviews covering topics on national security, economic policies, and social issues with midterm senatorial aspirants.
GMA’s flagship FM radio station, Barangay LS 97.1 Forever! also had a strong performance for the same period. It recorded an audience share of 43.1 percent, far ahead of closest competitors Love Radio 90.7 and Wish 107.5,
which recorded audience shares of 18.6 percent and 8 percent, respectively.
Listeners can tune in to Super Radyo DZBB 594 kHz and Barangay LS 97.1 Forever! from Monday to Sunday.
