Sit back and relax, as the new month brings a new roster of classic movies to watch out for in “FPJ sa GMA” this September.
Airing every Sunday at 3:15 p.m. on GMA, the first on the list is a 1974 romantic comedy film starring “Da King” of Philippine movies, Fernando Poe Jr., and Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos. Laugh and feel the love in Batya’t Palu-Palo on September 7.
Meanwhile, enjoy an action-filled afternoon with a lot of twists and turns in Kapag Buhay ang Inutang, airing on September 14. The 1983 film also features another Filipino icon, Eddie Garcia.
Veteran actress Azenith Briones joined Da King in Patayin si Mediavillo in 1978, where a police officer finds himself pursued by multiple assassins. Relive the legendary action stunts of FPJ and stay tuned for the movie this September 21.
And for the last installment this month on September 28, “FPJ sa GMA” showcases the 1991 film, Mabuting Kaibigan, Masamang Kaaway. FPJ and seasoned actor Vic Vargas joined forces in a story of two men who ended their close friendship because of betrayal. Catch this at 3:45 p.m. after “The Atom Araullo Specials.”
