Manila’s social and creative scene was transformed on October 29, 2025, as Raymond Gutierrez and Ashleigh Rye welcomed guests to their highly anticipated Halloween event, “The New Nocturnals.” Pivoting from the usual glammed up Halloween balls, the duo successfully reimagined the popular holiday as an edgy, immersive, and fashion-forward warehouse rave that immediately became the most talked about party of the year.
Held in Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati, the raw, industrial expanse of the venue, stripped of the glitz and glam, was turned into an exclusive underground playground. Drawing inspiration from the unfiltered energy of New York and Berlin’s best subcultures, the decor was a sensory masterclass: moody, cutting-edge lighting, strategically placed mirrors, and dark immersive art installations that turned the warehouse into a living labyrinth. The entire guest experience was a journey of discovery, with tunnels and shadow play ensuring every corner was an electrifying moment. Powered by Ploom, Nustar, Belo, and GWM, special booths were also available to give guests a more immersive experience from these brands.

“The New Nocturnals” wasn’t just a party; it was also a curated exhibition of Filipino creativity wherein Classic Halloween was reimagined through a high-fashion lens. The result was a stunning showcase of costumes that redefined “spooky chic”. Vampires, witches, and phantoms looked less like costumes and more like editorial spreads, with masks, elaborate veils, and statement accessories crafted by top Filipino designers adding an undeniable artful edge.

The room pulsed with energy as guests were served with lively dance performances from Nunoy, Leyva, Houie, Raymond, and Stephanie, while X1 B2B Zid, Simonetti, Sodi, and Sky Dominique provided the music. A special performance by Marina Summers also thrilled guests.

The event not only provided an arena for unfiltered fun but also brilliantly showcased the genius of Manila’s top and emerging creatives and celebrities, cementing “The New Nocturnals” as the new gold standard for Philippine Halloween—a party designed for those who own the night.
