Showbiz insider and talent manager Ogie Diaz extended a heartfelt and meaningful birthday message to his former talent Liza Soberano, who turned 28 on Sunday, January 4.

In a post shared via his Facebook My Story, Diaz wished Soberano success in pursuing her Hollywood ambitions, while also expressing hope that she would be surrounded by the right people to help her achieve her goals.
“Happy bday, Liza Soberano! Sana ma-achieve mo ang dream mo to make it big in Hollywood! Sana ay mapaligiran ka din ng mga tamang tao para mas mabilis mo siyang ma-achieve! Love you, Hopie!” Diaz wrote.
Soberano, meanwhile, thanked fans and supporters for their birthday greetings through her own social media accounts. While noting she could not reply to everyone individually, the actress said she deeply appreciated all the messages. She also shared photos from a recent shoot she personally produced in the Philippines, expressing gratitude to the team behind it.
The actress is set to return to the screen in the upcoming animated film ‘Forgotten Island’, where she joins an international voice cast that includes Lea Salonga, Manny Jacinto, and H.E.R.. The film draws inspiration from Philippine mythology.

Soberano previously made her Hollywood debut in the 2024 film ‘Lisa Frankenstein’, where she portrayed the character Taffy alongside Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse.
Diaz and Soberano’s professional split became a topic of public discussion in 2023 following the actress’ interview with Boy Abunda, where she spoke candidly about her career decisions and their former working relationship. Despite the controversy, Diaz has since maintained that he holds no ill feelings, emphasizing that he is doing well and appreciative of those who continue to check on him.
