The Department of Science and Technology–Science and Technology Information Institute (DOST-STII), through DOSTv, is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary on June 2, 2026 at the Enderun Tent in McKinley Hill, Taguig City, highlighting a decade of science communication and public service through broadcast and digital media.
The celebration will feature the official launch of two new programs, NegoSiyensya and Sci.Say, which aim to further strengthen public engagement and make science, technology, and innovation (STI) more accessible and relevant to Filipinos.
NegoSiyensya is a science and technology-oriented business program that highlights how STI creates opportunities and provides solutions for various sectors, including MSMEs, farmers, fisherfolk, local government units, and communities.
The program showcases the DOST initiatives and technologies that support productivity, livelihood, and economic development. The program is set to air every Saturday at 9:00 AM on GTV and DZBB starting on June 13, 2026.
Meanwhile, Sci.Say is a vodcast platform designed to make science conversations more accessible, engaging, and relevant to younger and digital audiences. Through discussions, interviews, and interactive content, the program explores science, technology, innovation, and emerging trends in a more conversational format.

With its collaborative approach, Sci.Say aims to be more engaging, where a co-host from a partner university joins each episode to help lead conversations and interviews with guest scientists, researchers, and experts.
The initiative aims to bring in fresh academic perspectives into science communication while encouraging participation among aspiring science communicators and students. Participating partner schools include De La Salle Araneta University, Centro Escolar University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines–Sta. Mesa, Trinity University of Asia, Philippine Normal University, and University of Baguio.
New episodes of Sci.Say will be released every Thursday at 6:00 PM on the DOSTvPH Spotify account, YouTube channel, and official website www.dostv.ph beginning June 11, 2026.
The anniversary celebration will also include the recognition of partners and stakeholders for their invaluable support and contributions to DOSTv’s decade-long mission of promoting science, technology, and innovation to the Filipino public.
As DOSTv marks its 10th year, it continues to strengthen its role in making science understandable, relevant, and meaningful to every Filipino through innovative and multi-platform science communication initiatives.
The DOSTv is one of the programs of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) aimed at providing science-based, innovative, and inclusive solutions across four strategic pillars: human well-being, wealth creation, wealth protection, and sustainability. These pillars embody the mantra OneDOST4U: Solutions and Opportunities for All. For more information, visit www.dost.gov.ph.
