Kapamilya actress Alexa Ilacad has officially confirmed the end of her love team partnership with actor and fellow ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10’ alum KD Estrada.

Through her X account, Alexa reposted the official statement released by their fandom group, KDLex International Sweethearts, announcing that the pair had mutually decided to part ways as a tandem.
“I am truly grateful to all the Sweethearts — more than you will ever know. I will forever cherish and remember everything you have done for me and KD from the very beginning: the sacrifices, the heartaches, the laughter, and all the beautiful memories and bondings we shared together,” Alexa wrote.
The actress also thanked fans for continuing to support both of them despite the end of their onscreen partnership.
“And no matter who you choose to support, as long as RESPECT REMAINS, I will continue to love and appreciate all of you. Thank you for all the love, unwavering support, and kindness you have given me and KD. We will always carry that in our hearts,” she added.
In the statement released Tuesday, May 12, KDLex International Sweethearts said the decision came after “many heartfelt conversations and with mutual understanding.”
“After many heartfelt conversations and with mutual understanding, KDLex decided to part ways as a love team due to the circumstances, external factors, and the people surrounding them. Though their journey as a pairing has come to an end, the respect, care, and friendship between them remain,” the fandom group stated.
The group also reflected on the bond that KD and Alexa built over the years.
“What KDLex shared was genuine, and the happiness and memories they gave to all of us will always be cherished. As fans, we will forever treasure the journey we shared together.”
Fans likewise thanked the pair for the memories, projects, and connection they shared with supporters throughout the years.
“To all the Sweethearts, thank you. Thank you for every moment of love, support, laughter, edits, trends, prayers, patience, and understanding you gave them through the years. They are deeply grateful for all of you and will always carry that love with them wherever life takes them.”

Although KD has yet to release a separate personal statement, he reposted the same announcement on his Instagram account.
KD and Alexa first became close during their stint inside ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10’, where fans began supporting their pairing. After the show, the two starred in several projects together and built a loyal fanbase known as “Sweethearts.”
Rumors about a possible falling-out between the pair started circulating last year after fans noticed that they were no longer frequently seen together in public appearances and projects.
At the time, KD denied that there was tension between them.
“I don’t know where it came from. Maybe kasi wala kaming work together. I understand there are other artists. But we are good behind the camera. We don’t have to show anything,” he previously said.
Speculation resurfaced again after KD was linked to his Bagets: The Musical castmate Mia Bella, which the actor strongly denied.
“Wag kayong magsalita na para bang alam niyo ang buhay namin dahil wala naman kayong alam talaga. Higit pa kayo sa mga writer na gumagawa ng mga kuwento. So classless at chaka,” KD said at the time.
He also defended Alexa against online attacks from some netizens and alleged supporters.
“Again, hindi ko itotolerate KAHIT SINO man yan. Kung sino makakabasa neto, alalahanin kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng boundaries. Pati ako may limits. Fan o hindi. Para sa lahat ng mga naghahate-speech diyan, lalo na sa mga nagha-harass sa mga taong mahal ko. This is your warning,” he added.
