GMA 7 introduces three equally fresh and lovely faces to watch out for in the television and movie scene- new Belo beauty Gwen Zamora, Cebuana covergirl and internet celebrity Ellen Adarna, and FM radio’s prettiest Andi Manzano.
Born and raised in Australia, 19-year old Gwen Zamora has all the makings of a promising celebrity. With her raw talent and exquisite mestiza features, she easily caught the eye of major players in both showbiz and the beauty industry. Film producer, actor and host Bossing Vic Sotto has personally chosen Gwen to be the new “Faye” in his latest “Enteng Kabisote” movie, while celebrity doctor Vicky Belo enlisted her to be the new face of Belo Essentials adding to her long list of product endorsements including Jollibee, Bingo Sandwich and Chef Philippe. This multi-lingual beauty has traveled to different parts of the world to study acting (Stanislavski method in Australia and Clowning at Commedia Dell’ Arte in Singapore) and different forms of dancing (Flamenco, Ballet, Balinese and Jazz). A filmmaking student at the College of St. Benilde, Gwen will soon be making her debut in Party Pilipinas and Bubble Gang, and will also be part of a primetime Kapuso program.
Before gracing the covers of Candy on July 2005 and September 2008 and Uno Magazine on March and September 2008, young Cebuana socialite Ellen Adarna has been making a name for herself in cyberspace for quite a while. Ellen, who is of Spanish, Filipino, and Chinese descent, became famous for being the most popular girl in social networking sites like Friendster, MySpace, and Facebook, where hundreds of fake “Ellen Adarna” accounts abound. Because of her unstoppable internet fame, she instantly became popular among males and females alike, and landed herself a feature in Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho. 23-year old Ellen is now ready to take her popularity to the next level as she dabbles in hosting and acting in Kapuso shows such as Bubble Gang and Party Pilipinas. Like Gwen, she will also be part of Vic Sotto’s next movie.
Completing the list of GMA-7’s new breed of female talents is MTV VJ, radio jock, and print and TV commercial model Andi Manzano, more popularly known as Andi9. the 23-year old fresh-faced beauty was first known as a radio jock for Magic 89.9 anda court-side reporter for FEU Tamaraws before becoming a VJ for MTV Philippines. She is the niece of Edu Manzano and Gary Valenciano. Andi is finally reay to join mainstream television and is gearing up for bigger things in her blossoming career.
Gwen, Ellen and Andi-9 will be formally welcomed into GMA-7’s stable of talents in Party Pilipinas on August 22.
