Elisse Joson and BoybandPH will fill viewers’ hearts with love and music as they team up for the first time in “Wansapanataym Presents: Ofishially Yours,” which airs this Sunday (May 20).
Elisse plays Stella, a mesmerizing lady who is often looked up for her beauty but despised for her mean attitude.
To star in the values-oriented program means a lot to Elisse, who grew up avidly watching the show.
“I am a fan of ‘Wansapanataym.’ I have been watching it since I was a kid. I hope everyone loves my character and learns lessons and valuable stories from her,” said Elisse.
Her character crosses paths with Jason (Joao Constancia), the leader of Darker Than Black band, which plays regularly at the club Stella owns. Due to a disagreement between Stella and Jason, however, the band decides to leave the club, affecting its sales massively.
To win back her most priced performers, Stella tries to lure Jason with her beauty but fails to succeed as the bandleader discovers her true intentions. With so much hatred in his heart, Jason wishes for Stella to vanish from his life, which a powerful fairy grants that leads to Stella’s unfortunate fate of getting cursed as a mermaid.
Will Stella be able to break the spell cast on her?
Meanwhile, members of Boyband PH are also thankful for having the chance to star in their own series.
“We are one group, and we (grow together) at the same time. We are happy and excited for the fans to see what we will offer in the series,” said Joao.
“People already know that we sing and dance. Here, they will see that we will do all of them while acting,” another Boyband PH member, Tristan Ramirez, added.
Also part of “Wansapanataym Presents: Ofishially Yours” are Janice de Belen, Ria Atayde, Jeric Raval, Russell Reyes, Niel Murillo, Ford Valencia, and Nico Antonio. It is under the direction of Jon Villarin.
