Louise de los Reyes testifies against criminals in ‘Ipaglaban Mo’

  • Louise de los Reyes stars as a murder witness who will fight for the truth without fear in this Saturday’s (March 16) episode of “Ipaglaban Mo.”

Dinah (Louise) did not finish her studies and was forced to work as a prostitute in a bar, hoping to earn enough money for bail for her jailed brother, Baste (Mark Anthony Fernandez). When Baste tells her of the corruption inside the prison walls, Dinah cautions him to stay away from trouble as there is still hope of him getting parole.

But when she herself witnesses the murder of two of her acquaintances by two jailguards (Sandino Martin and Mark Oblea), she fearlessly tells the truth—despite receiving death threats. Fortunately, she finds help in another police officer, Vincent (Marlo Mortel) who has become a friend.  In court, the accused will try to destroy her reputation, calling attention to the fact that she is a prostitute.

Will Dinah win her fight? How will she face the accused who are bent on destroying her character?

“Ipaglaban Mo,” the longest-running legal drama on Philippine television, offers viewers entertaining and informative episodes about real-life cases, which they may learn from. It also offers free legal advice to the public every week at ABS-CBN’s Tulong Center in Quezon City.

Don’t miss the “Reputasyon” episode of “Ipaglaban Mo,” directed by Dondon Santos, this Saturday (March 16) after “It’s Showtime” on ABS-CBN. For updates, follow @abscbnpr on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram or visit www.abscbnpr.com.
