Andrea Torres is rumored to be dating with her The Better Woman co-star Derek Ramsay. The rumors started to surface after Andrea went with Derek on a trip to Shanghai where she watched him in a Frisbee competition, the 2019 Asia Oceanic Ultimate and Guts Championships.
“He invited me, so sumama ako at nanood ng game nila,” Andrea said.
“First time for me to experience. I have no idea kasi kung ano ba ang buhay ng isang atleta at nakita ko personally ang hirap ng training, so lalong tumaas ang respeto ko sa kanila. Lalo kay Derek na may regular tapings pa kami but hindi napapabayaan ang sports niya. Talagang non-stop siya in pushing his body to be able to represent our country kahit sa ibang bansa.”
Andrea was also proud of her performance in the primetime series. Her portrayal of twin sisters Jasmine and Juliet has earned praises from netizens.
“With the help of our director Mark Sicat de la Cruz, we made sure na sa kilos, sa anyo at sa pananalita ibang-iba talaga ang kambal sa isa’t isa,” Andrea said.
Andrea was also grateful to Derek for helping her out in the series.
“It’s not easy to do it at kung minsan nga, ako mismo, nako-confuse, but with my leading man, Derek Ramsay, always being there to remind na, o hindi ka si Juliet dito, si Jasmine ka, I’m glad na naitatawid ko naman nang maayos gabi-gabi ang performances ko as twin sisters na magkaiba ang ugali.”
Addressing the rumors, Andrea finally revealed the real score with Derek. “I think we are now more than friends. We have developed a really very strong friendship in such a short period of time and let’s just say that I like where it’s going.”
In a separate interview, Derek also said that he’s thankful to Andrea for being very supportive.
“I’m really amazed at how patient and understanding she is. Walang kaartehan sa katawan. Mainit man o kahit umuulan, nandoon siya to show her support,” Derek said.

It was also undeniable that there’s surprising easy chemistry between the two stars with their steamy scenes in the series getting more sensual and realistic each day.
The series was the comeback show of Derek at GMA Network after fourteen years as well his first team-up with Andrea.
Derek last had a relationship with model Joanne Villablanca for four years but they separated in June 2019. Some speculations pointed out that Andrea caused the couple’s breakup as Derek seemed to have become smitten with her since their first day of taping. It was reported that their first shoot was a sexy scene done at a distant location.
On the other hand, Andrea was rumored to have had a relationship with Sef Cadayona. They allegedly broke up in 2017 though there were no confirmation about their relationship.
