Two months into the shutdown of ABS-CBN, Kapamilya stars continue to rally for the renewal of its franchise.
Kapamilya stars Liza Soberano, Jona Viray, Robi Domingo, Elisse Joson, Bianca Gonzalez, Martin Nievera and other celebrities shared why ABS-CBN deserved its franchise to be renewed.

Many have been saying that ABS-CBN has already been a part of their life and they can’t imagine the channel ceasing to exist. Aside from entertaining them, it has helped them grow as artists and as people as well. The corporation has also provided services to the Filipino people regarding employment, livelihood, and extensive help towards the people.
There have already been several hearings on the ABS-CBN franchise and its opposition has failed to prove that the network has any current violations. The people in opposition lead by Rep. Rodante Marcoleta, Rep. Jesus Crispin Remulla, and Rep. Mike Defensor continued to stall on the issues by asking repeated questions that had already been answered.
Kapamilya broadcaster Julius Babao even agreed with the notion that the whole issue is no longer about the expired franchise but deliberate political persecution and oppression.
