Kapamilya comedian-host Vice Ganda got caught off-guard because of Gelli De Belen’s sudden question about his outfit. Due to Ruffa Gutierrez’s absence, De Belen got invited to be a guest host on It’s Showtime‘s new segment Reina ng Tahanan.
During the segment, De Belen asked Vice Ganda about his lower garments which shocked the comedian.
“Talagang matagal ko nang iniisip ‘to. Anong suot mo sa ilalim?” she inquired while pointing to Vice Ganda.
At the time, Vice Ganda was wearing an oversized shirt that covered the denim shorts underneath.
The question shocked the comedian so much that even the face shield he was wearing fell off. He laughed at the question as he replied saying that he was wearing shorts.
“Naka shorts naman ako. Dati talaga wala, pero A2Z na tayo [so] may short na,
“Nung [ABS-CBN] lang tayo, wala.”
He quipped that now that It’s Showtime has a new home in A2Z Channel 11, his outfits are appropriate compared to when the show was still airing on ABS-CBN.
In a previous press conference of Tawag ng Tanghalan, Vice Ganda said that he had adjustments in hosting It’s Showtime as they shifted from ABS-CBN to Kapamilya Channel to A2Z.
The comedian said that he was forced to evolve with the contestants and audiences as they shifted to different channels.
“Alam mo nakaka baliw-baliw ‘tong show e’. Kasi, pa-evolve ng pa evolve ang platform, ang audience ang contestant so kailangan mong sabayan ang evolution e,“ he said.
Also, they consider being sensitive with their hosting as some people are struggling because of the pandemic.
It’s Showtime airs over A2Z Channel 11 on free TV, Kapamilya Channel on cable, Kapamilya Online Live, and iWantTFC online.
