Kapamilya star Liza Soberano gave a piece of advice to the netizens to be wary of the information online, especially during the election season in the country.
She warned the public about how her photograph got circulated to make it appear that she is supporting the presidential bid of former senator Bongbong Marcos.
One netizen called the attention of Soberano on twitter that her photograph is being used to mislead the voters.
A photo of her wearing red, BBM’s political color, with the text ‘BBM is my President’ is circulating online.
Soberano then took the opportunity to deny the rumors claiming that BBM is her presidential bet.

“Thank you for informing me. BEWARE OF FALSE INFORMATION EVERYBODY!” warned Soberano.
The actress then shared the said post on Instagram and asked the people to help report the account that spread the fake news.
“This is not true. Please help us report the account spreading this false information,” she posted on her Instagram story.
Soberano is known to be vocal about what she believes in. She previously mentioned that she wants to use her voice and platform to influence and inspire people.
She recently celebrated her decade-old showbiz career through her latest pictorial inspired by her title character in the hit animated series Trese.
