Delmags, located in Cubao City, is owned and run by Clarence’s family. Always curious about food, Clarence actually learned how to bake some pastries because of the bakeshop, but he has always preferred the most basic delight they have to offer. “My favorite? I love eating pan de sal,” he says.
On the next episode of “Goin’ Bulilit”, Clarence’s budding expertise in the bakeshop business is put on the spotlight in a playful imitation where he takes on the role of the head baker behind the counter. In fact, Clarence’s favorite pan de sal from Delmags was used on the set, and once shooting was done, everyone got the chance to enjoy it.
That same delight that Clarence’s pan de sal was able to bring to the cast and crew of Goin’ Bulilit is something that Clarence wants to keep alive until he grows up. “I want to put up my own bakeshop someday,” he said. “It will be for everyone—for the kids, too, just like in Goin’ Bulilit.”
