Mo Twister has reacted to the renaming of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to Ferdinand Marcos Sr. International Airport; Ogie Diaz, meanwhile, responded to the amendments regarding the terms of President and Vice President.

On June 30, Negros Oriental Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr. filed a bill that seeks to rename Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Ferdinand E. Marcos International Airport.

“It is more appropriate to bear the name that has contributed and [left a] legacy in our country to make the Philippines a center of international and domestic air travel, who has instituted and built or conceptualized the project,” Teves stated in filing House Bill 610.

On July 5, Mo said that he expected to see such a move in six months under Marcos’s Administration, but he did not expect that it only took six days.

Last year, I said it would likely take 6 months in a BBM administration to see movement to change the name of the airport. I said it would be inevitable but not in the first few days or months. Vanity cant be that important.

It took 6 days.

Diaz reacted to Pampanga 3rd District Representative Aurelio Gonzales Jr.’s filing of resolution to making amendments to the 1987 Constitution.

“Saka na muna ito. Trabaho muna.”

Diaz said the proposals are not timely, considering that there are more important issues.

“Kung ito ang makakapagpabangon ng bansa, makaka-create ng maraming trabaho at makakapag-ayuda sa pamilya ng 10k kada buwan, by all means… Gooooow!!!” Diaz stated.

Kung papalitan, ibalik na lang sa Manila International Airport kesa sumipsip. https://t.co/7vyrckRouW
