Many netizens assumed that Tom Rodriguez was returning to showbiz after he was spotted as a special judge in Miss Philippines USA in San Diego, California, held on Saturday, August 13.
This was his first public appearance after moving to Arizona, U. S. in March 2022.
In a previous interview, Rodriguez admitted that he really missed performing and collaborating with others.
Rodriguez said, “I really miss performing and collaborating, not just with my peers and my predecessors, but also collaborating with the audience you know that the rapport,” he said in an interview in Chika Minute of 24 Oras.
He also revealed that he is busy with a number of projects in America.
He shared, “We got a few things lined up. I have been lucky enough to be part of a series of shows. Hopefully, I can start plugging them soon.”
The Kapuso star gave his message to his friends, who hoped to see him again.
He said, “I’m okay and I really really appreciate the sentiments. I miss all of you guys right back so I can’t wait to see all of you again. Let’s collaborate, let’s work on something—all of us.”
In March 2022, Rodriguez and his partner Carla Abellana made headlines following their controversial breakup.
Rodriguez was last seen in the shows All Out Sundays and The World Between Us.
