Joross Gamboa and Roxanne Guinoo-Yap reacted to getting compared to the 1973 sitcom John En Marsha at the media conference for the third season of Hoy, Love You, with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 21.

Guinoo-Yap considered getting compared to the classic sitcom pairing of Dolphy Quizon and Nilda Blanca as a privilege and pressure.

“Siyempre ibang level ‘yun pero mine-make sure namin na ibang–na tatatak din kami na as JoRox siyempre. Privilege and advantage ‘yun for us, and also pressure ‘yun.”

She also highlighted how their pairing since entering showbiz helped build chemistry and rapport over the years.

So wala ng ilangan ‘yung ganon di ba?”

Gamboa emphasized that the support of their fans helped them stay relevant throughout the years.

Hoy Love You Season 3 stars Joross Gamboa and Roxanne Guinoo-Yap. The Kapamilya sitcom includes a stellar cast with Karina Bautista, Aljon Mendoza, Brenna Garcia, Carmi Martin, Keana Reeves, Yamyam Gucong, Pepe Hererra, TJ Valderama, Lou Veloso, Kate Alejandrino, Nona Cariaga, and Dominic Ochoa.
